February Events
Feb 1 - Mar 1 & Feb 22-23ORDERS FOR POLISH PRODUCTS FROM CHICAGO
This year, for the first time, we are offering the opportunity to purchase Polish products at retail prices available to the Polish community in Chicago. An email with a detailed product list and price list was sent to everyone on our email list at the beginning of February. Orders will be accepted only until March 1, and the products will be distributed before Easter. By placing orders, you support our organization and help fund our future events!

March Events
8th, 21st & 28thMEEMAN- SHELBY FOREST STATE PARK HIKE
The first hike of the year will be led by Magdalena Kamińska.
We will meet in front of the Visitor Center at 10:00 AM.
EASTER EGG DECORATING AND PALM MAKING
We warmly invite both children and adults to participate. Easter egg painting and making traditional Easter palms will take place at 9:00 AM at the Bert Ferguson Center. The organization will provide decorating materials. Please bring hard-boiled eggs for decorating.

May Events
2nd, 9th & 30thSPRING PICNIC & MAY 3rd CONSTITUTION DAY
The traditional spring Polish-American picnic will take place from 4:00–8:00 PM at Germantown Municipal Park. The organization will provide traditional grilled Polish sausage and beverages. Participants are encouraged to bring a dish to share.

STRAWBERRY PICKING
We invite everyone to join us for strawberry picking at Jones Orchard, 7170 Hwy 51, Millington, TN, at 10:00 AM. PAS will sponsor one basket per family for members whose 2026 membership dues are paid and who are present during the picking.

12th & 26thFALL PICKING
Our traditional Polish-American Fall Picnic will take place on Saturday, September 12, from 4 PM to 8 PM, at Cameron Brown Park in Germantown (entrance from Farmington Blvd). The Polish-American Society invites all fellow Poles, friends, and supporters. The event is open to everyone interested. The organization will provide traditional Polish sausage from the grill and drinks. Participants are encouraged to bring a dish to share. Event coordinator: Magda Mazur. See you soon!
JACKSON INTERNATIONAL FOOD and ART FESTIVAL
The festival will take place in Jackson, TN, at 800 S. Highland Ave, on Saturday, September 26, from 10AM to 4PM. Please arrive on time, as the Parade of Nations begins at 11 AM and all participants need to be there at 10:30 AM. As an organization, we have received a promise of financial support from the Polish Embassy. We will be offering samples of Polish food to the public and plan to sell various Polish products. The involvement of all our members is essential for the preparation of this event. Please contact Magda M (901) 258 6504 or Danka (901) 216 7963. Please remember that this festival is our organization’s primary source of income. Proceeds help us reduce the cost of Christmas Eve and fund events throughout the year.
Octobers Events
2-4th, and 17thFAMILY CAMP at Pickwick Landing State Park
This year’s camping trip for children and interested adults will take place at Pickwick Landing Campground. It will begin on Friday, October 2, and end on Sunday, October 4. For questions and formalities, please contact Justyna Zylka-O’Brien at 901-281-1535. Please note that parents, not the organization, are responsible for the safety of their children during the camping trip, and each family is required to sign a one-time waiver (available on the PAS website). We wish everyone a great time!
PUMPKIN PATCH at Menagerie Farms
We invite all children, youth, and adults on Saturday, October 17, from 12 PM to 2 PM to Menagerie Farms (3135 Shea Rd, Collierville) for a fall festival and pumpkin patch. PAS will cover admission for children who are PAS members. Parents/guardians who are PAS members are also free of charge. Non-members may use group tickets. A $5 parking fee in cash will be collected directly by Menagerie Farms staff.
November Events
7th and 21stPOLAND’S INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION
The meeting is scheduled from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at 9075 Cottonwood Cv, Olive Branch, MS 38651. A Polish flag will be displayed at the entrance to the property.
The organizers will provide participants with traditional pea soup (grochówka), mulled wine, and other beverages. Guests are also welcome to bring dishes or desserts to share on the communal table.
Please remember to bring a chair and a flashlight.
The program includes a bonfire and singing together, featuring patriotic songs as well as popular Polish hits.
HOLIDAY DECORATION WORKSHOP
We will meet at Ferguson Center (Cordova) at 10 AM to prepare for the busy holiday season. Basic materials for Christmas decorations will be provided. These will be used to decorate the tables and stage for our Christmas Eve celebration.
December Event
5thPOLISH COMMUNITY CHRISTMAS EVE (WIGILIA)
Our annual Polish Community Christmas Eve will be held on Saturday, December 5, 2026, at the Catholic church hall, 8151 Poplar Ave, Germantown, TN 38138. Admission is free for PAS members; for non-members, the fee is $45. The organization will provide basic Christmas Eve dishes. Additional traditional dishes and preparation help will be requested from participating members, as in previous years. Children of PAS members will traditionally receive gifts. Details regarding registration, requirements, and logistics will be shared by email one month before the event.
