Polish Dances Workshop: Folk and National Dances
Workshop Details
Dates: July 21 – August 1 (Monday through Friday)
Time: 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Location: Bert Ferguson Community Center
Led by: Rafał Dyrda, M.A. /Director and choreographer of the student group Połoniny.
Who Can Join?
Children (Ages 3–6)
– Learn basic dance steps and rhythms through fun, interactive play.
Teenagers (Ages 7–12)
– Discover more advanced arrangements and group choreography.
Adults (Ages 13+)
– Master Poland’s national dances in a welcoming and accessible atmosphere.

– Arts and crafts inspired by Polish folk culture.

– A deeper dive into the history of Polish folk music, costumes, and dance traditions.
– Learn to sing traditional folk songs that complement the dances.
