April 3 - 6 - Three Anniversaries and Visitors from Poland

PAS was invited to participate in the MLK50 event at the Civil Rights Museum in Memphis, commemorating the 50th anniversary of the death of Martin Luther King, Jr. We would like to invite PAS members to participate and offer feedback on this initiative. Among those expected to attend are Dr. Ryszard Schnepf, former Polish Ambasador to the United States, as well as a group of High School students and jazz musicians from Sopot. We ask PAS members to consider meeting our Polish guests and spending some time with them during their stay in Memphis from April 3 through 7. To assist with this project contact Jacek Dutkiewicz, or Pawel Jankowski. Ambassador Schnepf will be giving a speech regarding the role of the United States in regaining independence by Poland 100 years ago. We plan for this presentation to be part of the PAS 40th Anniversary celebration. More details will follow.
